Whoa. What happened to Zero's foot in that vertical panel? Is the smoke-foot and amputee-leg an artifact of his teleportation? Could it be signifying is evanscent, immaterial nature? Is it a poignant commentary on the treacherous nature of pedestrian motion, neatly contrasted by Zero's quintessential embodiment of an alternative to walking?
The correct explanation, obviously, is that Rob Liefeld cannot draw feet. See the fourth panel, in which everyone's running in a laughably awkward pose that serves mainly to create a false "perspective" that allows Liefeld to sort-of hide Warpath's foot. Unfortunately, it also caused Shatterstar's entire torso to be sucked into his shoulders, and his cape to sprout from his head.
Also, check that last panel. I told you we'd see two characters facing each other with their capes billowing in opposite directions for no goddamn reason.
