X-Force X-Plained

What's this all about?

X-Force. Specifically, the work Rob Liefeld has done on X-Force. I started reading it a while ago, and thought it was exceptionally funny. So, I decided to make a site where I commented on the pages, in the hopes that other people would think it's funny, too.

How much knowledge of X-Force do I need to read this comic?

Ideally, none. My goal is to include a full reproduction of each page of X-Force to go with the comments I post about them, so you won't need a copy of it handy to understand my site. More generally, however, I intend to keep everything self-contained, so that you can read this site without reading any other comic books whatsoever.

What's your update schedule?

One page of X-Force commented upon per day, one issue of X-Force per month. I'll double up when artwork goes across two pages, or when there are more than 30 pages in a single issue. If there are fewer than 30 pages in an issue, then I'll do a couple things. If I've made my donation requirement for the month, you'll get bonus content. If not, then I take a few days off.

Donation requirement?

I'd like to be able to cover the costs of this comic through reader donations. Given my update schedule, and an estimate of the cost of comics, I'd only ask for about $3/month.

Bonus content?

Explanations of other Rob Liefeld work, possibly. Or some of my own original artwork, or my own comic book project (itself a loose parody of Rob Liefeld.) Maybe if you're really unlucky, I'll put up unreleased pages from my other webcomic, Canine Coprothrustive Conundrum.

When will you end this travesty?

The most likely ending point is when I get bored. Other possibilities include when I reach the end of X-Force #12, when Rob Liefeld stopped drawing; when I get sued by Marvel for copyright infringement; when people demand that I stop because this isn't funny at all.
