Double Update: X-Force #1 Cover

Here we go: The first cover of the first issue of X-Force. Sorry for the inconsistency of the hue in the front and back pages, I'm not sure how to correct for it. The next double update should be smoother.
Anyway, this is actually an extremely good introduction to Rob Liefeld's art. The main feature of the front page is Cable, the enormous muscley cyborg with a handgun and glowing eye. Cable is a Rob Liefeld creation, and his powers include being able to wield HUGE guns without actually using his hands--what's up with those gloves? His knuckles just seem to sort of merge into each other beneath the trigger guard. The gun itself is also pretty weird. Why are there two holes at the end of the pistol? Why is one of them crooked? Who knows? Also of note is the fact that Cable's package is actually wider than his entire head, and his knees are even wider than that. It might be the effects of perspective, but then he would be falling flat on his ass. He's got the biggest shoulderpads anyone has ever conceived, and a host of useless pouches and ammo belts strapped all over his limbs. Not to mention that if you look closely at his lips, you can see that they're all puffy, like he just got stung by a hornet. Maybe that little tube coming out of his walkie-talkie is feeding him anti-histamines.
If you can drag your attention from Cable's MASSIVE package, you'll notice Feral, the cat-lady in the center of the page. She supposedly has fur, but is actually just constantly on fire. I don't know what the hell is up with her hair, but it looks like... I don't even know what it looks like. All I can think of is "inverted triangle crossed with a deformed peacocks tail, and painted orange" but that's not even close. Also she has no eyes, what the fuck. At least she has big hooters.
Standing up above Feral, you can see Boom Boom (what a seriously retarded name. Eventually, she became Boomer and then Meltdown, which, while still dumb, are exponentially less gay than Boom Boom) standing around looking intimidating. There's nothing of note, other than her gigantic, perfectly triangular package and surplus of random-ass pouches.
Moving to the back of the cover, we see Shatterstar getting ready to leap out of the page at us. Shatterstar's powers include being able to flex REALLY hard, have his cape and ponytail flowing out behind him at all times, and wield a sword with two blades attached to the hilt without feeling a deep sense of shame. I'm not sure why he wears boxing headgear, or why he has a bizarre cornucopia strapped across his stomach, or what the hell happened to the hand supposedly holding that aforementioned double-bladed sword, or what's in those pouches, or just what good a single gigantic shoulderpad is supposed to do him, but it all combines to make him look retarded.
To Shatterstar's immediate right is Domino, whose powers include the ability to make obnoxious quips, as well as boobs. Don't ask me how she's standing, by the way. What the hell is wrong with her far leg? Another abundance of pouches, by the way.
Warpath is standing behind Domino, and he's about ten feet tall. I'm not sure how tall Warpath is supposed to be, because he's drawn so radically inconsistently compared to the rest of the characters. Basically, he's just extremely strong, and he wears a vaguely Native American costume.
In the upper left is Cannoball, who has the ability to fly around shitting fire. For some reason, nobody thought to tell Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod (his creators) that that's a completely idiotic ability. Rob Liefeld has drawn his arms sticking in random directinos with an expression of shock at the fact that he is, indeed, shitting fire. It's oddly appropriate.
A few other random issues that serve to indicate just what level of quality Rob Liefeld brings to his art: Everyone is grimacing. They are HARDCORE. Of the seven characters on this page, none of them have feet showing (a common theme in Rob Liefeld's art). None of them have proper eyes. Four of them have nearly-identical feathered hair, and four of them have random pouches. There's no background, just random smoke covering up feet and lots of lines. Also, take a look under Feral's right armpit. I honestly can't tell what it is. It might be Cable's right leg, but... there is no way it could possibly be there. Maybe it's just random static.
