Whoa what the fuck how did Shatterstar and Feral get behind Cable? And where did he get that enormous rifle? He was using two handguns before. I guess all that random jumping around and grimacing gave them magical teleportation powers. Similarly, even though Cable isn't actually shooting at anyone there, his amazing grimace and crotch will cause enemies to spontaneously drop dead.
That second panel is really a work of art. Obviously, it's totally cool that Shatterstar turned into some kind of headless swordsman for a couple seconds there, while the attacking mutants were kind enough to pose dramatically for him to name them. Note that Forearm, the attacking mutant on the left, doesn't actually have four arms (his lower left arm is very clearly not drawn). Chalk it up to Liefeld's incompetence. Sadly, Forearm also doesn't have a lower left leg, making him tragically imbalanced. Another great thing is how Wildside, the attacking mutant on the bottom, is doing that retarded jump-squat thing we saw Shatterstar doing not too long ago. He also has a single shoulderpad, although this one's gold.
Then we get some great, moving, plot-advancing dialogue about methods of telling time. Er, wait, I meant retarded and irrelevant dialogue. EXTREME GRIMACES, though.
