Huh. That helicopter in panel 1 actually looks pretty much like a helicopter. I guess Rob Liefeld actually took the time to use a reference for it. The blades still don't look anything like anything rotary in nature, but one can't ask for everything.
However, the dedication to realism doesn't extend to Bridge's communications room, with its gigantic primary-colored panels of random squares and giant viewscreens that are reminiscent of nothing so much as Lost in Space. I'm also kind of curious why his enormous viewscreen tints everything green. I mean, black and white, I would understand, or proper full color. But... green? What the hell?
