Judging by Arianna's earlier appearances, she's not supposed to be some kind of midget. Judging by Black Tom's later appearances, in this issue and others, he's not supposed to be eleven feet tall. I'm guessing that this center panel, in which Black Tom is some 1.5x times the size of Arianna, is just more evidence of Liefeld's comical ineptitude when it comes to perspective.
Also, oh my God, more proper eyes in this comic, in that last panel! Liefeld must really be going all-out toward the end here.
