Comic

It's a little ridiculous that the comic just straight-up says that Gideon is a "very mysterious man," as if we couldn't tell by virtue of the fact that no information has been disclosed about him. But overwrought narration is just a fact of life for Liefeld/Nicieza fans.

What's extremely ridiculous is Gideon in that third panel. Look at Gideon's near shoulder. Now look at Gideon's far shoulder. Now look at Gideon's head.

Apparently, his super powers include, in addition to flesh-colored lips and teeth, a magically prehensile ponytail, and even more cyborg arms, the ability to dislocate his head and let it fly around at random. Perhaps it helps when he and Roberto execute perfectly symmetric, oddly synchronized attacks against weird robot... things.

And what's the deal with the backgrounds, anyway? In the third panel, it at least looked kind of like wood panelling, but after that it degenerates into random pink rectangles and a modern art pastiche. The hell?
